I like games

It's going to sound like a duh statement, but games are primarily how I have fun. Role-playing games are my favorite because it allows players to attempt to escape from the normal cycle of their lives. You get to experience, in your mind at the very least, new worlds and share it with others. You also get a set of rules to deal with the inevitable conflicts that occur in the world. A luxury that often does not exist in the real world.

Social complexity is something I haven't really gotten to explore in a game as the focus of the game. Often it has taken a backseat to things like smashing down the door and looting corpses. While I can get into this kind of play, I'd rather leave it primarily in video games, that type of media does it best in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to the next vampire game for this very thing. I do have concerns that some of the players want to play the kick in the door kind of game, but hope I can avoid that repetitive cycle. I do hope I can find some interesting characters to interact with to engage in reciprocity with. Few things excite me like working out problems.

Nothing more today, just work and more work sadly. Catch you all tomorrow.
